Autism Spectrum expert to run workshops in Sydney
Professor Tony Attwood is in international authority on Asperger’s Syndrome and autism. His text “Asperger’s Syndrome: A Guide for Parents and Professionals” has been translated into thirty languages. His new book “The Complete Guide to Asperger’s Syndrome” is recognised as the leading textbook on the subject internationally.
Professor Attwood is presenting two workshops in Sydney next month. These workshops are designed to help parents, professionals who see adults and/or older adolescents with Asperger's syndrome (first workshop) or teenagers (second workshop) as part of their work, including psychologists, GPs, psychiatrists, employment agencies, social workers, counsellors, school teachers, teachers assistants, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, and staff in clinics for mental health problems, eating disorders, substance use issues, gender identity issues, and forensic issues.
